Bounce Rate

What is a bounce rate? This refers to the rate at which visitors to your website exit stage left, as it were. In other words, how long they linger, before heading off stage. You, of course, want them to stay. We can analzye your web statistics to improve the amount of time the audience remains, and doesn't nod off during the performance.

Can people find your site?

Right now there are potential clients searching for your site. Can they find you? Search Engine Optimization - SEO - to the rescue! We pay attention to the details, from code to copy, so that your customers can find you. Our websites are built to be found.

When should I start thinking about a redesign for my site?

When was the last time ... you bought a new computer? Updated your wardrobe? Or bought a new cell phone? Depending on your budget, your reasons for purchasing any of the above items, and your ethical values, you'll have a different answer for when that time has come.

With a website, you might start considering a redesign if you have very little traffic, if you would like to make frequent text updates, but you current site is not built that way, if your site looks like it was made in 1999 (?) or your business has grown, but your website hasn't. Websites are "alive", and need to be watered...

Flash + Actionscript

Should you use Flash? To an extent, this is industry specific (think movie trailers, for example). However, generally Flash should not be used for an entire site, nor for navigational elements. This can negatively affect bounce rates, and have your potential customers scurrying away. A healthy dose sprinkled in can add some spark or be useful for demonstrating certain aspects of your business (think "how to videos presented in Flash". You can view a Flash animation / advertisement we did that was very well received by the client's customers. We can also create banner ads, or complex interactive nifty stuff for the geek within.
